Request deletion of your Procharge India account

We are sorry to see you go. You can ask us to delete your Procharge India account and its associated personal data at any time, even if you no longer have the app installed.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@procharge.in with the subject “Account deletion request – Procharge India app”.
- Send it from the email address registered on your account, and include:
- Your full name
- The mobile number registered in the app
- Your registered email address
- (Optional) The reason for leaving
- We may contact you on your registered mobile number or email to verify that the request comes from the account owner.
- Your account will be deleted within 7 days of the request, and we will send you a confirmation email once it is done.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently delete the personal and account data linked to it, including:
- Personal information: name, phone number and email address
- Account information: login credentials, profile preferences, saved locations and charging preferences
- Location data and app usage data linked to your account
- Device information linked to your account
What data is kept, and for how long
| Billing and tax records | Records of charging sessions performed and the amounts paid for them are retained, without any personal user information, for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law (generally up to 8 years). |

| Payment details | Card and bank payment details are processed by third-party payment providers and are not stored by Procharge. |
| Wallet balance | Any amount remaining in your in-app wallet cannot be refunded, as per Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations applicable to closed wallets. Please use your wallet balance before requesting deletion. |
